These earrings are created by taking pieces of the dried overflow paint from an acrylic pour painting that are cut by hand. Casting resin in carefully poured into the bezel and allowed to cure for three days. Once cured, the mandala is painted and allowed to dry before being encased in another thin layer of resin.

I don’t want the excess paint to go in the water supply or in the landfill, so I use it to make these pendants. Reduce, reuse, recycle… Or as my Grandma used to say, “waste not, want not.”
